6 Days Safari Program

Arrival in Tanzania: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport.
Meet & Greet: A guide from Calvin Trekking & Safaris will meet you at the airport.
Drive to Tarangire: Transfer to Tarangire National Park (about a 2-hour drive).
Afternoon Game Drive in Tarangire: Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through Tarangire, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. You may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more.
Overnight: Stay at a lodge or tented camp inside or near the park.

Morning Game Drive: Start your day with an early morning game drive. Tarangire is known for its dense populations of elephants, so keep your eyes peeled for these magnificent creatures, as well as lions, wildebeest, and an array of bird species.
Picnic Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated spots in the park, surrounded by stunning wildlife.
Afternoon Game Drive: Continue your exploration of Tarangire in the afternoon. The park is less crowded than some of Tanzania’s other parks, allowing for a more intimate safari experience.
Overnight: Return to your lodge or tented camp for the evening.

Breakfast & Departure: After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park (about a 4-5 hour drive). Enjoy the scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands and across the Serengeti plains.
Lunch: Stop for lunch at a lodge or camp within the Serengeti.
Afternoon Game Drive: Arrive in Serengeti and embark on an exciting afternoon game drive. Depending on the season, you may be able to witness the Great Migration, with millions of wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains. Even if it’s off-season, the Serengeti is always teeming with wildlife, including big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
Overnight: Stay in a lodge or luxury tented camp in the Serengeti (such as in the Seronera Valley, a prime wildlife viewing area).

Morning Game Drive: Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, where you’ll experience the golden hour of wildlife activity. This is when predators like lions and leopards are often most active, and prey animals like gazelles and zebras are also on the move.
Picnic Lunch: Pack a lunch and enjoy it in the park, taking in the beautiful scenery.
Afternoon Game Drive: Continue your safari with an afternoon game drive, where you’ll have another opportunity to spot wildlife and experience the endless beauty of the Serengeti’s plains.
Overnight: Return to your Serengeti lodge or tented camp for the night.

Breakfast & Departure: After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater (about a 3-4 hour drive).
Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater: Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater, descend into the caldera for a half-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called the “Garden of Eden” due to its stunning biodiversity. The crater is home to a large population of wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, and the endangered black rhino.
Picnic Lunch at the Crater: Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch on the crater floor, taking in the breathtaking views.
Ascend and Drive to Lake Manyara: After lunch, drive to Lake Manyara National Park (about 1.5 hours). This park is known for its tree-climbing lions, large flocks of flamingos, and rich birdlife.
Afternoon Game Drive in Lake Manyara: Explore Lake Manyara’s varied ecosystems, including the lake itself, dense forests, and open plains. You may see elephants, giraffes, and a variety of bird species, including pelicans and storks.
Overnight: Stay at a lodge or tented camp near Lake Manyara.

Morning Game Drive: Enjoy an early morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, where you’ll have a chance to spot more wildlife before heading back to Arusha.
Brunch: Return to your lodge for brunch, or enjoy a packed meal on your way out.
Drive Back to Arusha: After brunch, drive back to Arusha (about a 2-hour drive), where your safari will end.
Optional Departure: If you’re flying out the same day, we can arrange a transfer to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.

Transport: All park transfers in a 4×4 safari vehicle with a professional guide.
Accommodation: 4 nights in lodges or camps (depending on your preferences and budget).
Meals: Full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) during the safari.
Game Drives: 4 days of game viewing with an experienced guide in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro.
Park Fees: All entrance fees to national parks and conservation areas.
Guides: English-speaking, experienced safari guides with knowledge of local wildlife.
